i give thanks to all the lineages that have adopted me, raised me, birthed me. i give thanks to my teachers in human and non-human forms. i give thanks to my parents and my elders. i give thanks to the teachings, the unlearnings, the unfurling, the letting goes. i give thanks to Thich Nhat Hanh for everything and specifically for the poem and song Please Call Me by My True Names your words are water for my healing and the inception of these services. i give thanks to all the indigenous tribes of the Amazon Jungle and Turtle Island, i give thanks to your song, your medicine, your prayer, to all the care-ways and water-ways. i give thanks to all the master plants and the sacred plants. i give thanks to tobacco, cedar, sage, rosemary, rose, lavender, pericon, palosanto, mint, mugwort. i give thanks to the Red Road, to the Lakota sacred technologies and ways, to Black Elk, to White Buffalo Calf Woman, to the arrows. i give thanks to prayer. i give thanks to remembering. i give thanks to the Buddha/s, to all Bodhisattvas, to Quan Yin, to the dharma, the sangha, to metta. i give thanks to the Reiki masters, Reiki temples, and the Reiki holy fire, i give thanks to the energy workers and energy balancers, to the ones that blow wind. i give thanks to the energy points in our collective consciousness. i give thanks to all the death workers, and death laborers and the practices of ritual and ceremony from time immemorial. i bow to all of you who have held me, taught me, danced me, walked with me, on the path. thank you for your generosity, your offerings, your sharings, your medicine. may this prayer bless you, your loved ones, your lineages past, future, and present a thousand fold. may this prayer, these offerings water the seeds of liberation. for the benefit of all beings everywhere.
